The Samsung Gear Fit2 is the company's latest fitness tracker, replacing the aging Gear Fit. It's not quite a smartwatch, but it does have a number of features that a smartwatch would have. For instance, you are able to get your notifications from your smartphone onto your wrist, but you aren't able to do much with them. The Gear Fit2 does obviously show you the time, so it can be used as a watch, that tracks all of your activity. Its main competition is the Fitbit Blaze or Surge. The Gear Fit2 does track your activity, as well as your sleep, your workouts and so much more. So you can keep track of how active you are throughout the day.
Previous Samsung wearables were only compatible with Samsung smartphones. However that changed last year with the Gear S2. Now all of their wearables are compatible with other Android-powered smartphones, but it works better with Samsung smartphones, as Samsung built that software and it's better optimized for Tizen-powered wearables like the Gear Fit2. Typically the Gear Fit2 runs for $199, but right now you can pick it up for just $149 at multiple retailers including Best Buy and Amazon. Hit up the links below to grab yours.
