Deal: Netgear Arlo Security Cam from $99.99 - 11/24/16

The Internet of Things is still gradually coming down in price and sneaking its way into our homes, but there's one area that has taken off in the world of connected gadgets, and have now become extremely competent at what they do; home security cameras. Everyone from Logitech to Samsung make some sort of security camera for the home these days, but home networking giant recently launched their line of products. Dubbed Arlo, these cameras are both good for indoor and outdoor use, and can be easily expanded to different rooms with more cameras with little to no hassle, and as expected from Netgear, they connect to the Web and give us excellent access to the footage they've recorded, as well as a live feed into our homes whenever we need it.

Today, the whole Arlo line is at its lowest price on Amazon, and can be had from as little as $99 for a single camera. The Arlo camera is a standalone unit, and connects to your home network, recording in HD - complete with a nightvision camera - and allows users to access the footage or stream live from their smartphones or tablets whenever they want to. For $99, this is a good deal, but there's some great value to be had when you choose to purchase the four-camera kit, which includes four Arlo cameras and a base station to keep everything running for just $349.99. This is a great deal, and for a lot of people could cover all the views they need with a simple, effective kit. DVR footage is stored in the cloud for 7 days and can be downloaded to do whatever you want with it, and given that these work in the dark as well, these are some great deals.
