As if the price that Newegg offered on the Honor 8 for Black Friday wasn't low enough to get you to buy the smartphone, it just dropped even lower. The 32GB model is going for $265 and the 64GB model is priced at $315 right now. It'll be sitting at this price today and tomorrow, or while supplies last. So you'll want to grab it before it's gone.
The Honor 8 is one of the best smartphones out there, under $400, and right now it's likely the best under $300. This is Huawei's second "Honor" device to come to the US, following the success of the Honor 5X. The Honor 8 is a more high-end device, sporting a 5.2-inch 1080p display, powered by the Kirin 950 processor and 4GB of RAM. It has a 12-megapixel camera on the back, actually it has two of them. It uses the dual-camera setup from the Huawei P9, but it is not marketed as a Leica setup. It also has a 3000mAh battery powering the show, which is enough to get through the full day and then some. Currently, there is a Nougat beta available for the Honor 8, so it should be getting the Android 7.0 update soon, but for now it is still running on Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.1.
