Alcatel IDOL 4S Now Available From Amazon For $349.99

With Black Friday and the Holiday season upon us, there are plenty of deals to be had on smartphones at the moment. Just in time for that busy sales period, Alcatel has decided to make the Alcatel IDOL 4S available in the US from Amazon. This is a smartphone which was unveiled earlier in the year (along with the Alcatel IDOL 4) and is one which is designed to offer a good level of specs, a good build quality, but at an affordable price. As such, the Alcatel IDOL 4S is now available to order from Amazon for only $349.99.

In terms of the specs and for the asking price, the Alcatel IDOL 4S is a good-value smartphone, as it is one which comes equipped with a 5.5-inch display and makes use of a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Inside, the Alcatel IDOL 4S comes packed with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. Cameras comes in the form of a 16-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. While additional features include a 3,000 mAh battery, NFC and Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) out of the box. Although it is worth pointing out that the Alcatel IDOL 4S also comes with some enhanced audio features, including dual 3.6-watt, JBL certified, front-facing speakers.

Of course when the Alcatel IDOL 4S was first launched, one of its selling points is that it was positioned as a virtual reality smartphone. In fact, it even came initially bundled with a VR headset and this coupled with the enhanced audio experience and the QHD display, made the IDOL 4S ideal for virtual reality. Unfortunately, this version does not come with the VR headset, although it does come packaged with a free pair of JBL headphones, a Quick Charge charger and a free tempered glass screen protector. Which is not a bad package overall and especially when you consider that this is a smartphone which does only cost $350 for everything included.
