ZTE Begins Pre-Orders of Axon 7 Mini in the US

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini was announced at IFA in September and now it is finally available for pre-order in the US. ZTE USA has not yet announced when the device would be shipping, but it is up for pre-order for just $299.98, which is a pretty fantastic price for what you're getting here. The ZTE Axon 7 Mini will be available in Ion Gold and Platinum Gray. Best Buy has claimed an exclusive on the Ion Gold color for the first 60 days that the device will be available. It will also be available at Amazon, B&H Photo, NewEgg and ZTEUSA.com. ZTE USA's CEO, Lixing Cheng stated in a prepared statement that "disruption is not led by the company who can deliver the best specs at the lowest price, it's about tenacity to put the consumer first." He continued by saying that the "Axon 7 Mini delivers on both fronts as we listened to consumers who wanted a smaller option to our original Axon 7 at a price that many can afford."

ZTE is now the second largest smartphone maker in the US, when you look at the no-contract market. And the Axon 7 Mini is definitely going to help keep the company in that position. The ZTE Axon 7 Mini shares many features from its big brother, the ZTE Axon 7. Including a dedicated audio chipset for Hi-Fi playback and recording, but also the dual front-facing speakers which provides a pretty amazing audio experience for everyone out there. It's sporting a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, and is a dual-SIM smartphone. That's something you don't see too often in the US, but it is quickly becoming popular among unlocked smartphones available here. There is a Snapdragon 617 processor powering this device with 3GB of RAM and a 2705mAh battery inside. It also has a 16-megapixel sensor around the back and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Best of all, the ZTE Axon 7 Mini retains the fingerprint sensor.

If you liked the ZTE Axon 7, but wanted it in a smaller size, then the Axon 7 Mini is definitely worth checking out. You can pre-order it from the Amazon link down below. Currently Amazon doesn't show when the device will be delivered, but it shouldn't be too far out.
