Zombie Town Story Is Both A Puzzler And An Action Game

Various companies have released tons of zombie-themed movies, TV series and games in the last couple of years. Google’s app store is littered with such games, and some of them are really good, while others, now so much. Now, we won’t blame you if you’re tired of seeing zombie-themed games around, but if it’s a solid game, why not play it, right? Well, that’s exactly how we felt when we stumbled upon Zombie Town Story, a relatively new game from HeroCraft Ltd, a well-known mobile game developing company known for titles like Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf, Ice Rage: Hockey, Medieval Wars: Strategy & Tactics, etc.

That being said, the Zombie Town Story game is quite interesting, though it all depends on what genre you enjoy playing. This game is a combination between a puzzle game, an adventure title, and a survival game. That combination might sound odd, but those genres actually overlap quite seamlessly in this game. The graphics are spot on here, and in order to survive and advance on the map, you’ll need to solve various puzzle game in order to secure enough food and weapons / ammo to advance. Those puzzles are quite similar one to the other and should not be a problem for anyone to solve really, but they’re there to make things a bit more difficult for you. Now, you’ll be fighting zombies in this game as well, of course, which can be really fun on its own. There are dozens of weapon types included in the game, ranging from a chainsaw all the way to various sniper rifles which will come in handy when it comes to shooting down the undead.

Now, it’s worth mentioning that your decisions will determine the direction of the plot, or so says the developer considering we didn’t really get around to play this game for that long, as this is not a review, but more of a preview of a game. Your goal in Zombie Town Story is to figure out what happened, who’s to blame for the zombie virus. All in all, this game is quite fun, and it’s free to play (even though in-app purchases are present here), so try it out if you’re interested.
