Xiaomi had introduced two new flagship phablet two days ago, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Xiaomi Mi MIX. The basically knew that Xiaomi is planning to introduce the Mi Note 2, but the border-less Mi MIX definitely came as a surprise, a huge surprise. This high-end phablet sports no bezel on the top, or its sides, only a relatively small chin below the display. Both of these devices sport top of the line specifications, and we already have a lot of coverage available on the site, just in case you’re interested in reading more about these two phones.
Having that in mind, these two devices are only available to Chinese consumers (already), as they can register for the first flash sale, and Xiaomi had confirmed recently that they have no intention of launching the Mi MIX out of China, and by doing that, the company managed to anger some people, especially Indian users who were definitely expecting this device to come to the country. Well, those of you who are looking to purchase either of these two devices globally, you’re in luck, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is already available for pre-order from GearBest, and the Xiaomi Mi MIX is coming soon as well. You can pre-order all versions of the Mi Note 2 from GearBest, including the global one which comes with support for more or less every network out there (read more about it here). The Xiaomi Mi MIX is also listed on the site, but it’s not available yet, you can, however, subscribe to the company’s newsletter, and they will let you know as soon as it becomes available. Both of these phablets are fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core SoC, along with the Adreno 530 GPU. These two devices ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and on top of Google’s OS, you’ll find Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 OS. Both devices are available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, but that’s where their similarities end. The Mi Note 2 comes with a 5.7-inch fullHD curved AMOLED panel, while the Mi MIX sports a 6.4-inch 2048 x 1080 display. The Mi Note 2 features a 22.56-megapixel rear-facing shooter, while you’ll find a 16-megapixel snapper on the Mi MIX.
