Nubia represents one of the best-known brands in China, the Nubia Z9 was a truly stunning smartphone when it launched last year, it arrived with basically no side bezels, and a ton of really interesting features. Nubia is still mainly being sold in China, but the company is doing their best to change that, as they’ve launched some of their devices outside of Asia earlier this year. The Nubia Z11 was introduced earlier in the year, their new flagship smartphone, which much like the Nubia Z9, comes with basically no side bezels. That being said, the company has just introduced yet another smartphone, read on.
The company’s new device is called the Nubia Z11 miniS, and it is essentially an upper-mid-range smartphone. What do we mean by that? Well, it offers premium build, and most of its specs are high-end, though it comes with a mid-range SoC, and ‘only’ a fullHD (1920 x 1080) panel. This smartphone features a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) 2.5D display, 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB / 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). This smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core processor running at 2GHz, along with the Adreno 506 GPU for graphics. On the back of this phone, you get a 23-megapixel camera (Sony’s IMX318 sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens), while you’ll find a 13-megapixel snapper (Sony’s IMX258 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens) on the phone’s front side. The Nubia Z11 miniS comes with two SIM card slots (2 x nano SIM), and you can use the second SIM slot to insert a microSD card in case you want to expand the device’s internal storage.
The Nubia Z11 miniS sports a fingerprint scanner on its back, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on this device, while Nubia UI 4.0 skin is available on top of it. 4G LTE connectivity is included here, of course, and the 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package (it is not removable). The Nubia Z11 miniS measures 146.06 x 72.14 x 7.60mm, while it weighs 158 grams. The device comes in Silver, Gold and Gold with Black color variants, while the 64GB and 128GB storage variants of the phone cost 1,499 Yuan ($222) and 1,899 Yuan ($281), respectively. If you live in China, you can order one of these as we speak (follow the source link down below), and the phone will be available for purchase starting from October 25th.
