Samsung introduced its "Galaxy C" lineup to the world earlier this year, with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy C5 and Samsung Galaxy C7 respectively. In recent months, it seems like Samsung is gearing up to release variants of the Galaxy C5 and C7, with better specs and will be dubbed the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro. However, it seems like Samsung is not done with the lineup yet, as the Samsung Galaxy C9 has surfaced on GFXbench and has also dropped by the FCC. If that isn't enough, the Pro version of the Galaxy C9 has leaked in images this time round.
In the leaked photos of the Galaxy C9 Pro, it can be seen that the device will come in gray and gold color. A tri-antenna band design can also be seen, and it is also featured on the Galaxy C9. Samsung calls this new design "next level of antenna craftmanship". The antenna bands are located at the top and bottom of the device, and Samsung has colored the antenna bands to look very similar to the color of the device itself so that the antenna bands look flush and give a unique design to the smartphone. This is a shift away from the norm of usually white antenna bands which is still featured on many flagship smartphones today, and these bands stand out on aluminium phones.
As for the specs of the upcoming Galaxy C9 Pro, not much is known of it just yet. However, the specs of the Galaxy C9 has been leaked quite extensively. The Galaxy C9 is expected to pack a large 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it is expected to come with a Snapdragon 652 System-on-Chip clocked at 2.0GHz, along with an Adreno 510 GPU to handle graphics. For optics, a 16-megapixel is expected to be available on the front and rear of this device. Android 6.0 Marshmallow can be expected to run this device, along with a custom user interface from Samsung. As the Galaxy C9 Pro is after all the "Pro" version of the Galaxy C9, better specs can be expected from the Galaxy C9 Pro. It is likely that more leaks of the Galaxy C9 Pro will surface in coming weeks.
