Gionee P7 Max Gets Announced In India, 3GB Of RAM In Tow

Gionee is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that has been around for a while now. This company had introduced some interesting devices in the last couple of years, including some big battery smartphones as part of their 'Marathon' lineup, and also some other smartphones made out of metal, including the Gionee P7 Max which was introduced at the beginning of this month. The Gionee P7 Max was originally released in Nepal, which seemed quite odd, and we were wondering whether the phone will land in other countries or not. Well, the company has just answered that question, as they have announced the device's availability in India, read on.

The Gionee P7 Max is, for all intents and purposes, a mid-range smartphone. Now, this phone does offer great build quality, and looks quite sleek, it is made out of metal and glass, while it sports three capacitive buttons below the display, overview, home and back, respectively. The device features a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. This phone is fueled by MediaTek's MT6595 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 2.2GHz, along with the PowerVR G6200 GPU. The 13-megapixel snapper can be found on the back of this device, and a 5-megapixel shooter is placed on its front side. The 3,100mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable. The Gionee P7 Max offers two SIM card slots, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on this phone with the company's Amigo 3.2 UI on top of it. The device measures 157 x 77 x 9.1mm, while it weighs 182 grams.

"We are really excited to present the new P7 Max. At this price point, it will be a perfect buy for customers this festive season. This phone has specially been created with a vision to give you more in less as it delivers a flawless experience along with great design and amazing features," said Arvind R. Vohra, MD & Country CEO at Gionee India. The Gionee P7 Max comes in Gray-Blue and Gold color variants, and it costs Rs. 13,999 ($210) in India. The phone is already available for purchase, and you can get it both online and offline in various stores in India.
