Download: Get Your Hands On The First Stock Pixel Wallpaper

Just recently the system images have appeared for the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, and now you can get your hands on the first stock wallpaper from the Pixel, which is perfect if you're waiting on yours to show up and want to give your phone a little bit of that Pixel look. As noted in the system image post, these images contain handfuls of information and data from the Pixel and Pixel XL, and this includes the stock wallpapers. This isn't the first system dump to have appeared for a device and if you've been following Google's line of Nexus devices in the past, chances are you have seen these system dumps before, where many of the wallpapers and other items have been made available for download prior to the phones being released.

The same thing is happening with the Pixel and Pixel XL system images, and although this is just one wallpaper so far, users can certainly expect more wallpapers to appear in the near future once people have had more time with the system image dumps to extract additional items. The wallpaper, which can be seen below, looks like a satellite view of the ocean, presenting deep and colorful hues of blue and green. It keeps the theme with many of the other stock wallpapers that have been found on past Google devices and likely won't be the only one that has this sort of style to it on the Pixel phones.

While you can simply download the image below by saving it, it is worth noting that it is not the full resolution image file. You can, however, grab the full size file from the button below if you want the wallpaper to be in its original and as intended resolution. In addition to wallpapers, it's likely that someone may end up extracting APKs of newer app versions as well, which could make their way to the web for download at some point. Google's Pixel and Pixel XL phones were originally announced last week on October 4th, and were made available for pre-order the very same day, with phones expected to ship in the next couple of weeks for those who placed a pre-order on either phone from the Google Store.
