The HTC One A9 received quite a bit of criticism when it was announced last year. And that was due to how closely it resembled the iPhone. However, it turned out to be a pretty impressive smartphone, even though it wasn't technically a high-end flagship from the company. It was priced a bit higher than most people would have preferred, but it did sell rather well. HTC launched the One A9 at $499.99, and now eBay has it as low as $259.99 for a brand new model. That's a pretty great price, considering what you're getting here.
Now the HTC One A9 is indeed a year old, but it is not dead in the water. HTC is still pushing out updates to the device, and in fact it should be getting Android 7.0 Nougat very shortly. So you'll be getting a somewhat older device, at a decent price, and still getting updates. It's a pretty great deal when you think about it. This particular model here is a GSM unlocked smartphone, and will work on both AT&T and T-Mobile as well as the other GSM carriers in the US and around the world. Currently, eBay only has it available in Topaz Gold, however.
