The Fitbit Alta is one of the company's newer fitness tracker, being announced earlier this year, it puts itself above the new Flex 2, but below the Charge 2. It essentially replaced the original Fitbit Charge, which was the same as the Charge HR, but without the heart rate monitor. The Fitbit Alta was made to be a bit more pretty, rather than it just screaming "I'm a fitness tracker". It's much smaller than some of the others out there, while still performing all of the same duties, and even lasting a full week on a charge. Which is also quite impressive, to say the least.
Fitbit sells the Alta for $129, and since it launched earlier this year, we haven't seen it dip much below that original price. However, eBay does have it available for $117 right now. And this is a brand new model, not a refurbished or open-box Alta. Which makes the price even more attractive. Sure it's only a few bucks, but it's still better than paying full price. Keep in mind that you can swap out these bands for other colors and materials, including leather and metal. Colors include blue, black, plum, and a few others. Fitbit will likely introduce more of these bands in the future as well.
