ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe & ZenWatch 3 Launching in the US

Today, ASUS held its Zenvolution event in New York City and the Taiwanese company launched a host of devices for the US market. The new devices come from the Zen family including, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe, ZenFone 3 Laser, ZenWatch 3, and ZenPad 3S 10. If you would like to know more about ASUS' latest offerings, read on.

First up, we have the ZenFone 3 Deluxe which come in three variants, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe Special Edition, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe with a 5.7-inch display, and the ZenFone 3 Deluxe with a 5.5-inch display. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe Special Edition comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD AMOLED display and under the hood, it packs the Snapdragon 821 System-on-Chip along with an Adreno 530 graphics card. When it comes to memory, it packs 6GB of RAM coupled with 256GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage. For optics, it sports a 23MP Sony Exmor IMX318 sensor with OIS, EIS, and the new ASUS TriTech auto-focus system along with PixelMaster 3.0. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe 5.7-inch variant comes with similar specs save for the processor, screen size and internal storage. Instead, the device packs a Snapdragon 820 System-on-Chip, a 5.7-inch Full HD AMOLED display and 64GB of internal storage. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe 5.5-inch variant packs a Full HD IPS display and a Snapdragon 625 System-on-Chip. It also comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For optics, it packs a 16MP Sony Exmor 218 shooter and has the ability to shoot 4K videos.

Moving on to the more budget friendly device, the ZenFone 3 Laser. The device packs a 5.5-inch display and under the hood it comes with a Snapdragon 430 System-on-Chip. It also comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card and a 13MP PixelMaster camera with laser autofocus. The whole ZenFone 3 lineup features ZenUI 3.0, on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. ASUS also launched its ZenWatch 3, which comes with a round AMOLED display and features a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor. The body of the watch is made out of jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel which should provide sufficient protection for daily usage. The watch's body is also 9.95 mm thick and has three crown buttons which will provide quick access to regularly used functions. Lastly, we have the ZenPad 3S 10, which comes with a large 9.7-inch QXGA display. It is a tablet meant for viewing of media content and comes with ASUS Tru2Life video-enhancement technology and an audio system with virtual 7.1-channel surround-sound support. It also happens to be ASUS' first tablet to feature a fingerprint scanner.

When it comes to pricing and availability, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe Special, ZenFone 3 Deluxe 5.7-inch variant, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe 5.5-inch variant and the ZenFone 3 Laser, costs $799, $499, $399 and $199 respectively. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe 5.7-inch and 5.5-inch variant as well as the ZenFone 3 Laser, can be pre-ordered from the ASUS Store while the ZenFone 3 Deluxe Special Edition will be available at the end of October. The ZenWatch 3 and ZenPad 3S are priced at $229 and $299 respectively, and will be available early November.
