The Uncertain: Episode 1 Arrives On NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV

It is almost becoming a weekly event for new games to become available on the NVIDIA SHIELD. Speaking of which, there is a new game which has just become available. This one is 'The Uncertain'. Although, to make use of its full title, 'The Uncertain: Episode 1 – The Last Quiet Day'. This is a game which has become available through Steam and as part of that launch is also now available to owners of the NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV only. This is a game which is expected to become more widely available for Android in the future, although details on when have yet to be provided.

In terms of the game, those looking for a light-hearted title might want to turn away now as this one is not one of those. The Uncertain is a game which focuses on a post-apocalyptic Earth, although not just any post-apocalyptic Earth. This one is now largely occupied by robots following the self-induced demise of humans. As this is a part 1, there will obviously be follow-up aspects to the story coming through in due course, but in this first chapter the player adopts the role of an engineering robot who has to make their way through an Earth which still holds many of the hallmarks of humans. Using those hallmarks to form and make moral choices, in spite of only being a logical being.

If you are interesting in giving this one a try then it is now available to download through the Google Play Store. This is a game which is priced at $14.99, although the game is expected to go on sale to mark the launch and will be available at the slightly lesser cost of $11.99. Unfortunately, there are no details on how long the reduced price will be in effect and the price change is not showing up as of yet. Either way, you can find out more about the The Uncertain: Episode 1 – The Last Quiet Day or grab a copy by heading through the Google Play Store link below.
