Samsung SM-G5510 Pops Up On Zauba With A 5-Inch Display

Samsung, as many of you know, tends to release quite a few smartphones every year. The 'Galaxy S' and 'Galaxy Note' lineups might be Samsung’s most popular series of devices, but the 'Galaxy A' and 'Galaxy J' smartphones are also quite popular in some regions. The Galaxy A devices are considered to be Samsung’s mid-range offerings, while the Galaxy J devices belong in the entry-level sector, at least the majority of Galaxy J devices. That being said, we’re here to talk about yet another middle-of-the-road Samsung-branded device, read on.

The Samsung SM-G5510 had surfaced on GFXBench at the end of last month, and thanks to that listing, we now know its partial spec sheet. In addition to GFXBench, the Samsung SM-G5510 had also popped up on FCC. Having that in mind, this handset has surfaced on Zauba as well, which is India’s import / export website. If you take a look at the provided image down below, you’ll get to see the listing itself, and even though this listing really doesn’t share all that much info, it does confirm that this smartphone is on the way. The listing does say that the phone will sport a 5-inch display, and that’s more or less it.

Now, the Samsung SM-G5510 is expected to sport a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, at least according to GFXBench. The device will ship with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, while it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 425 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, along with the Adreno 308 GPU. The 12-megapixel or 13-megapixel snapper will be available on the back of this smartphone, and you can expect to see a 5-megapixel sensor up front. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the Samsung SM-G5510, while you’ll be able to find Samsung’s custom UI on top of Google’s operating system.

That is more or less it as far as specs go. So, what name will this device carry? Well, we still don’t know, but as you can see, this is Samsung’s entry-level smartphone, and it is possible that it’s a part of the Galaxy J series, or perhaps even a Galaxy On series, we’ll just have to wait and see. Samsung is expected to introduce this phone soon, and we’ll report back as soon as it gets announced.
