Marvel Tsum Tsum Puzzler Hits Play Store

After Disney Tsum Tsum managed to break into top 10 games on Google Play Store this May, the company wasted no time on releasing yet another game featuring silly character heads from one of its popular IPs. The latest title boasts a large cast of Marvel characters, is developed by studio XFLAG, and has just started rolling out on Google Play Store.

Not unexpectedly, Marvel Tsum Tsum is pretty much Disney Tsum Tsum with a fresh coat of paint, but if you're a fan of Marvel or casual mobile games, that shouldn't be a problem. The game is basically a match-three puzzler with a couple of twists. It features two game modes: Stages for casual players and Battle for those looking to push their puzzle-solving skills to their very limits. More specifically, Battle pits you against numerous villains who you must defeat within a certain time frame while Stages is for those who need or want to have some time to think about their next step. Apart from matching heads of Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, the Incredible Hulk, Agent Coulson, and other Marvel superheroes, Marvel Tsum Tsum enriches the traditional match-three formula with some authentic power-ups and battle locations. Other than that, the game also boasts a cool multiplayer feature which allows you to team up with your friends in order to take out bosses.

Just like Disney Tsum Tsum, the Marvel-themed addition to the series is available for download free of charge and doesn't feature any annoying ads. Naturally, there are in-app purchases to be found in the game but none of them are necessary for unlocking all of the stages and are only there to help speed up the progress of impatient players. While the Google Play version of the game is only 32MB in size, note that you'll have to download another smaller data package once you install the app so make sure you have at least 150MB of free space available on your device. Note that the app still isn't available worldwide so you may have to wait a few more days before getting to play it. Match-three puzzlers aren't your cup of tea? That's not a problem, there are plenty of other great superhero games to choose from on the Play Store.
