Honor is, as many of you know, Huawei’s sub-brand. This company has been expanding really fast. The company’s recently introduced Honor 8 smartphone has been well received by the tech community, and for a good reason, this is a premium looking and feeling smartphone, which is quite affordable and has plenty to offer in terms of specs and functionality. Honor had introduced a number of other smartphones in the last year or so, including the Honor 5X mid-ranger which was introduced back in October last year. This smartphone had managed to become one of the company’s best-selling devices ever, and consumers are eagerly waiting for its successor, the Honor 6X, to launch.
We didn’t really see a lot of Honor 6X rumors or leaks thus far, and were wondering when will such content start popping up. Well, those of you who are interested in this smartphone will be glad to know that the Honor 6X has just been certified by TENAA, which is China’s alternative to the FCC. This particular listing did not reveal the Honor 6X’s specifications, but it did reveal its design. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the Honor 6X in the flesh. This phone will sport Honor’s branding below the display, while both of its physical keys will be placed on the right. Two camera sensors will be placed on the back of this smartphone, and right below those sensors, you’ll notice the fingerprint scanner. The LED flash is located next to the two aforementioned camera sensors, and Honor’s branding is present on the back of the phone as well. The device’s speaker(s) will be placed on the bottom, though we don’t get to see the bottom of the device in these images. The dual camera setup on the back will protrude a bit, and the SIM card slot will be placed on the phone’s left-hand side.
As already mentioned, this listing did not share Honor 5X’s specifications, but we can always try to predict what specs will the phone sport. The Honor 6X will, quite probably, ship with a 5.5-inch fullHD display, just like its predecessor, while you can expect it to pack in 2GB / 3GB of RAM, along with 32GB of expandable internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC will probably fuel this smartphone, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the device, along with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) skin.
