Samsung isn't new to creating wearables. They've now released seven smartwatches, as of the Gear S3 that they announced last week. The Gear Fit2 is, however, their second fitness tracker. And it's much improved over the original model. With plenty more battery life, and a slew of new features as well. The Gear Fit2 will do all of the usual things you'd expect your fitness tracker to do, including tracking your activity, calories burned, sleeping patterns and much more. But with the Gear Fit2, you can also get your notifications from your smartphone right there on your wrist. Making it a hybrid wearable, between a smartwatch and an activity tracker.
Typically, Samsung will sell the Gear Fit2 for just $179, however, Amazon is currently selling their latest wearable for $149. That's $30 off and so far that's the lowest price for this wearable. Of course, it is only a couple of months old, so you shouldn't expect to see a huge drop in price just yet. The Samsung Gear Fit2 is available in black, blue and pink, and come in two sizes, which are dependent on how large your wrist is. It does work with any Android device, however it does work a bit better with Samsung smartphones, due to it being tightly integrated with Samsung's software and features.
