Bluboo Picasso 4G’s NFC Support Confirmed

The Bluboo Picasso 4G is one of the latest smartphones to come from Bluboo Mobile and is a direct follow up to the previous and popular Bluboo Picasso, although it comes with a number of improvements including support for 4G. One of the other improvement that Bluboo Mobile recently announced was that the Bluboo Picasso 4G would come with NFC support. Which is something that is likely to be of benefit to those interested in picking this smartphone up. Since the advance of mobile payments, NFC has become an extremely important aspect for smartphone buyers when choosing their next smartphone and is likely one of the reasons why smartphone manufacturers are keen to include the feature now. In no short order, NFC has become a must for new smartphones.

NFC, or ‘Near Field Communication’, is a set of close-range wireless communication standards. Devices including smartphones which come equipped with NFC support are able to connect and exchange information with each other and in most cases, simply by tapping or waving. Although one of the most well-known benefits of NFC at the moment is its ability to allow phones to be used as a ‘mobile wallet’ - where your smartphone can act as a digital replacement for your real wallet, as well as its cash and credit cards. NFC literally allows the user to tap or wave the smartphone and pay for groceries or redeem coupons. Besides mobile payments though, there are a number of other uses for NFC. For example, NFC also allows paying for your parking meter as well as being a convenient way to use tickets or boarding passes, as some airlines and buses also support NFC now. There is even more future-proof examples like making use of NFC to open a door, with some companies and universities using NFC-enabled devices as security badges - essentially allowing the user to tap their smartphone and enter the building. While there are also the more fundamental uses of NFC, like the ability to download information by simply tapping or waving your smartphone. The uses are numerous and all thanks to the support offered by the inclusion of NFC on a mobile device.

In terms of the Bluboo Picasso 4G, this is a smartphone which comes with a 5.0-inch OGS display. Inside, the Bluboo Picasso 4G comes loaded with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and an updated MediaTek MTK6735 quad-core processor, Cameras come in the form of a 13-megapixel rear camera (with custom-made Sony sensor) and an 8-megapixel front-camera. Additional features on offer include the already-mentioned NFC, Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and the exclusive Beauty camera app, Bluboo BeautySnap. While this 4G model sees a number of upgraded features being included, this is a smartphone which still retains the popular design and appearance of the previous version. Although, if the Picasso is not something you are interested in, it is worth knowing that Bluboo Mobile has started a new promotion on one of its other new arrivals, the Bluboo Maya Max. This promotion runs from September 19 through to September 24 (GMT+8 18:00) and means you can pick up the Bluboo Maya Max for only $99.99. To find out more head through the link below.
