ASUS had managed to intrigue a number of people when the company introduced their newest ZenFone 3 devices earlier this year. The company had introduced the ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Ultra and ZenFone 3 Deluxe smartphones. The ASUS ZenFone 3 is ASUS' new mid-ranger, while the ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra are the company's phablet offerings, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe is a flagship phablet, while the ZenFone 3 Ultra is a very well-specced mid-ranger, and a huge, huge device.
That being said, the ZenFone 3 Ultra got certified by TENAA (China's equivalent to the FCC) quite recently. This, of course, indicates that the device will become available for purchase in China really soon. TENAA's listing more or less confirmed ZenFone 3 Ultra's specs, this model of the device will be almost identical to the global variant ASUS announced earlier this year. The ZenFone 3 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. The phone will be fueled by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor running at 1.8GHz, while the Adreno 510 GPU will also be included here for graphics rendering. The 23-megapixel OIS camera will be placed on the back of the ZenFone 3 Ultra, while you'll be able to find an 8-megapixel snapper up front. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the ZenFone 3 Ultra with the company's ZenUI 3.0 skin. They Type-C port is placed on the bottom of this smartphone, and a 4,466mAh non-removable battery (Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 included) is also a part of this package.
The ASUS ZenFone 3 Ultra will become available in Glacier Silver, Titanium Gray and Rose Gold color variants in China, at least according to TENAA. The device measures 186.4 x 93.9 x 6.8mm, while it weighs 65.5 grams. The ZenFone 3 Ultra's volume rocker keys are placed on its back, as you can see in the gallery down below, and the phone is made out of metal. That is more or less it, ASUS' largest ZenFone 3 handset is going to be available in China really soon, for those of you who are interested. We still don't know how much will this phablet cost, but we will keep you posted, as usual.
