Action Launcher 3 Brings Rumored Nexus Launcher's Features

One of the best things about Android is its customization; which gives users a great control on changing pretty much everything on their smartphone according to their tastes and preferences. Third party launchers are the best way to radically change device's look and feel. There are now tons of third party launchers available on the Google Play Store to choose from. Whether you want to get rid of your device's custom skin or want to get that particular skin of other smartphone, you can easily get it by just installing a custom launcher.

While there are many third party launchers are available, Action Launcher 3 is one of the most popular custom launchers among users, thanks to its speed, simplicity, and near stock feel. Today, Action Launcher 3's developer, Chris Lacy, announced a big update for the launcher that adds a bunch of new features and functionalities and fixes many bugs to improve the user experience further. The new update brings several new features based on rumored Nexus Launcher - which was leaked just a few weeks ago. The update includes: Nexus Luncher style All Apps panel which reveals apps on swiping bottom to top - needs to be turned on from app settings, two new folder presets based on Android Nougat, Quicktheme support for folder icons to change color of icons, tinted dock background with ability to change colors via Quicktheme, caret style (^) page indicator - reveals apps on swiping up just like Nexus Launcher, Nexus Launcher's trademark pill shaped Google app widget, option to set different wallpaper for home screen and lock screen - on devices running Android 7.0, rumored Nexus Launcher style date widget which can be customized to load custom app other than default clock app. The update also fixes various bugs across different Android versions. Most of these features were available in Action Launcher 3 beta app for quite a time, but only now they are made available in the stable version of the app. Chris Lacy says that rumored Nexus Launcher's features are enhanced to give users a simple yet powerful experience in Action Launcher 3.
