Xiaomi Redmi Pro Teardown Is Live, See What Lies Inside

Xiaomi had introduced quite a few Redmi-branded smartphones this year, and the Redmi Pro is one of the latest ones. This handset was introduced at the end of July, and it is also the most powerful Redmi-branded smartphone to date. The device ships with a metal build and a dual camera setup on the back, while, similar to the Mi 5, it sports a physical home key below the display. The Redmi Pro also comes with a solid set of specs, while it packs an AMOLED display up front. We’ll talk more about the device’s specs in a minute, let’s first check out the new piece of info.

As it’s usually the case after a well-known smartphone launches, someone gets around to pull apart the phone in order to see what lies on the inside, and to see how easy (or hard) it is to fix it. That is just what happened in China with the Redmi Pro, and if you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see quite a few Redmi Pro teardown images. The teardown process begins with the removal of the SIM tray, and after which the frame gets taken off, which reveals the internals of the device. The phone is relatively easy to open in case you need to fix something real quick on the inside, while the battery is also easy to take out, even though it is not removable per se, and you do need to pry open the device before you can take it out. In case you’re interested in checking out the whole procedure, you can take a look at the gallery down below, and if you need step-by-step instructions in order how to completely disassemble the Redmi Pro, follow the source link down below.

The Redmi Pro sports a 5.5-inch fullHD OLED display, 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Helio X20 or Helio X25 SoC, the highest-end model (4GB RAM + 128GB storage) comes with the Helio X25 processor. The 13MP and 5MP sensors are placed on the back of the Redmi Pro, and a single 5-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The 4,050mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable, in case you were wondering. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the inside of the Redmi Pro’s physical home key, and the device comes with two SIM card slots.
