The newly announced, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be making its way to T-Mobile's network. T-Mobile is set to open up pre-orders on August 3rd, with the device launching in the US on August 19th, many T-Mobile customers that pre-order will likely have the device either before or on the day that it launches. Like with many of the other flagship devices that have launched recently, T-Mobile will likely start shipping the Galaxy Note 7 well before the official launch. With the Galaxy S7, customers received their pre-ordered device almost a week before launch.
The Galaxy Note 7 is also slated to make its way over to AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, as does most other flagship devices. T-Mobile will be offering the Galaxy Note 7 for $69.99 down $32.50/month for 24 months, or $849 full retail. This smartphone is a bit more expensive than the Galaxy S7 was earlier this year, however that's quite normal for Samsung. Typically the Galaxy Note costs around $50-100 more than the Galaxy S model does. Usually due to the higher specs, newer and better build quality and of course the S Pen that's included in the Galaxy Note 7. Those that pre-order will also get to choose between getting a year of Netflix, a Gear Fit 2 or a 256GB Micro SD Card with their purchase.
When it comes to specs, the Galaxy Note 7 is sporting a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 resolution Super AMOLED display, with Gorilla Glass 5 on top which will protect the display from scratches and such. Although it does not make it shatterproof, like Lenovo's Moto Z Force. Powering the Galaxy Note 7, is the Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. This means that the Galaxy Note 7 is the first smartphone to come with 64GB of storage as standard, on any carrier. Samsung has also tossed in a non-removable 3500mAh battery for good measure, to make sure the Galaxy Note 7 can last through the entire day. And if it doesn't, it does also have Samsung's Adaptive Fast Charge, unfortunately it doesn't sport Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 standard.
If you're interested in pre-ordering the Galaxy Note 7, you won't have to wait long. As all of the US carriers are opening up pre-orders tomorrow, and all are launching on August 19th. T-Mobile will have the devices available in-store beginning on August 19th, for those that want to upgrade with JUMP!.
