Dual-SIM Variant Of The Galaxy Note 7 Gets Unboxed In Dubai

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was announced two days ago in New York, and consumers all over the world have been waiting to get their hands on the device. The phone will go on sale starting August 19th in the US, while European consumers will have to wait a bit longer in order to get it. That being said, it seems like the device has been made available for purchase in Dubai a bit sooner than expected, and one user managed to get his hands on the device and already share his unboxing experience, read on.

A man behind the ‘Vic The Chick’ YouTube handle, who is called Victor, purchased the dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy Note 7 in Dubai for AED 2,999 ($815), and has decided to shoot his unboxing video with Samsung’s newest flagship soon after that. He got the Silver Titanium variant of the phone, and he also got a free 128GB microSD card with the device for free. The video is about 3 minutes long, and before he begins unboxing the device he talks about its features and what not. This video is certainly not one of the most informative pieces we’ve seen as far as the device itself goes, but in case you want to see the Galaxy Note 7 unboxed ahead of time, and what lies on the inside of its retail packaging, well, the video is embedded down below, so go for it.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sports a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Dual Edge Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. The Galaxy Note 7 is powered by either the Snapdragon 820 or the Exynos 8890 SoC, depending on where you purchase it. The 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera is placed on the back of the Galaxy Note 7, while a 5-megapixel shooter can be found on the phablet’s front side. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the phone, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find Samsung’s skin. The phone is IP68 certified, which essentially means that it is water and dust resistant, and it is also worth mentioning that it ships with a 3,500mAh battery.
