Dream City: Metropolis Game Lets You Build Your Own City

Chances are that many of you reading this have either played Sim City, or have at least heard of that game. Sim City has been around for a long time now, and has seen tons of sequels. This was originally a PC game, but considering pretty much everyone owns a smartphone these days, Sim City had arrived on mobile platforms as well. That being said, there are tons of similar games out there available for Android, and each of those games has a unique feel to it, they’re not exactly copies of Sim City. Well, we’ve come across such a title quite recently, let’s see what’s it about, shall we.

The aforementioned game is called ‘Dream City: Metropolis’, and it’s basically a city development title, though it technically belongs in the ‘simulation’ genre on the Google Play Store. You take the role of a mayor in this game, a mayor of Metropolis, and your goal is to build a great city, a city of dreams. During your journey, you’ll need to grow industries, build houses, construct civic buildings, monuments, etc. This is a 3D game, and the graphics actually fit with the game quite nicely. You’ll also meet tons of characters while you play Dream City: Metropolis, and as you progress, various new neighborhoods will unlock for you to explore and develop, same goes for landmarks.

This game is actually quite simple to play once you get started, the UI is quite easy to use, though you will need to get used to it real quick. Keep in mind this is an online game though, so you will need to have an active internet connection while you play it, which is something not everyone is looking forward to. The Dream City: Metropolis game is free to play, though you can purchase various in-app items with real money. Now, before you start expressing your anger, you can disable this feature, all you have to do is set up password protection for purchases in the setting of your Google Play Store application. The Dream City: Metropolis game has been downloaded over 1 million times thus far, and it is currently holding a 4.2-star rating in the Google Play Store.
