Deal: Samsung Gear Fit2 for $149 – 8/9/16

It took Samsung a good little while, but they finally announced an updated version of their fitness tracker, in the Gear Fit2. It was announced earlier this summer and just went on sale rather recently, at a starting price of $179. However, Amazon has already knocked $30 off of the price, bringing it down to just $149. Making it a pretty good deal, especially for anyone that's into fitness. Remember that the Gear Fit2 does not need a Samsung smartphone to work, unlike the original Gear Fit. It will work with any Android smartphone.

Like most fitness trackers, the Gear Fit2 will track your activity throughout the day, as well as your calories that you've burned and your sleep. Since it does have a heart rate monitor, it can also track your workouts and such. Making it a great companion for those long, hot summer runs. The Gear Fit2 does also sport built-in GPS. Unlike many other fitness trackers, like those from Fitbit, which use your phone's GPS to track and map your run, the Gear Fit2 does it automatically, without using up your smartphone's battery. Which is always a good thing. The Gear Fit2 also has the ability to connect to your Spotify account and stream music for you from your smartphone. So you don't even need to have a pair of earbuds with you on your run.

The Gear Fit2 is available in a few colors and sizes, all of which are on sale for $149. You can pick them up today, using the links below.
