Chromebooks have continued to increase in popularity, not just among consumers, but also among PC makers. Many PC makers that make laptops and desktops running on Windows have also now opted to create their own Chromebooks. Like ASUS with their C300MA here. Chromebooks have basically replaced Netbooks in the low-cost realm, and in some aspects they can do a whole lot more. Remember, that with Chromebooks, what you are essentially getting is a laptop that has a web browser and that's really it. So if you need Photoshop, Lightroom, or any other program like that, a Chromebook won't work well for you.
This ASUS Chromebook isn't the highest-end Chromebook available, but it will definitely get the job done for you. We're looking at an Intel Celeron 2.16GHz processor that is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The C300MA also sports a USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port, both of which are backwards compatible. There's also Bluetooth included, with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Remember that Chromebooks are due to get the Google Play Store this fall, and the ASUS Chromebook C300MA is one of those Chromebooks that will get blessed with Android apps. Another solid reason to pick one up. Which you can do so from the link below.
