ZeroLemon Unveils A 8,500mAh Battery Case For The Nexus 6P

The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are still Google’s latest Nexus handsets. The Nexus Marlin and Sailfish are expected to launch later this year with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and their design was seemingly revealed recently, but until they actually launch, the two aforementioned Nexus smartphones are here to satisfy your stock Android needs. That being said, the Nexus 6P is Google’s most powerful Nexus to date, and it’s also quite an interesting device. There are tons of accessories available for the Nexus 6P already, and those of you who find Nexus 6P’s battery to be insufficient will most probably like today’s news, read on.

ZeroLemon, a well-known smartphone case manufacturer, has just announced a battery case for the Huawei Nexus 6P. The company has introduced a rugged case for the phone which brings an 8,500mAh battery to the table. So, those of you who need to get more battery life out of your Nexus 6P handset, this is certainly a way to do it. The 8,500mAh battery pack will last you quite a bit, and is considerably bigger than the 3,450mAh unit that comes with the device, so when you add the two together, you basically get a 11,950mAh battery, which is more than impressive. This case will, of course, add plenty of bulk to the device, but that was to be expected, not only are you adding tons of weight and thickness to the phone, but you’re also covering up the device’s sweet design, it’s up to you to decide whether that's worth it or not. The Nexus 6P ZeroLemon battery case will become available starting on July 15th, and you’ll be able to purchase it via Amazon for $59.99 (introductory price). The link is included down below, but do keep in mind you cannot purchase it just yet, you’ll need to wait for about a week in order to do that.

The Nexus 6P, for those of you who don’t know, is a metal-clad smartphone which sports a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, and it comes with a 12.3-megapixel rear-facing shooter (1.55µm pixel size). Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes out of the box here, though the phone will get updated to Android 7.0 Nougat later this year.
