Video: Oukitel K6000 Pro Review

When it comes to smartphones, our biggest complaint is almost always the battery, especially when looking at the spec sheet. Let's face it, our smartphone has become an extension of our existence. Could you imagine going a day without your smartphone? Probably not. It's something we use virtually all day, every day. Which is why battery life is so important to many of us. Unfortunately, battery life is the one area that a smartphone hasn't seen innovation in, at all really. We've seen smartphones coming with larger and larger batteries, including the Oukitel K6000 Pro. And that's about all the innovation we've seen in terms of batteries.

The Oukitel K6000 Pro is the "Pro" version of their already available K6000 smartphone. Going into the review process, this smartphone was pretty exciting seeing as it sports a 6000mAh battery. And thus, we had some pretty high expectations, especially in terms of battery life. That battery is about twice the size of most other 5.5-inch smartphones - and those have a higher resolution display. The Oukitel K6000 Pro sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display, powered by MediaTek's MT6753 octa-core 1.3GHz processor, and sports 3GB of RAM. Pairing a pretty efficient processor with a 1080p display means that the 6000mAh battery is going to last quite a while, and it definitely does.

Our written review of the Oukitel K6000 Pro is already live on the site, which you can read it here. Now our video review of the device is available. If you'd like to see the device in action, you'll definitely want to check out the video, which is around 7 minutes long. The Oukitel K6000 Pro is a great smartphone, and one that many of us would love to own as a daily driver. However, seeing as this is a device that is available in China, that means there's no 4G LTE support for US networks - if you do decide to import it, you can expect EDGE speeds on both AT&T and T-Mobile.

Coming in at just $179, the Oukitel K6000 Pro is definitely a smartphone worth checking out, with its all metal build and huge battery inside.
