The Elephone S3 is one of the latest smartphones out of the Shenzhen, China manufacturer. The S3 is a somewhat small smartphone, coming in at about 5.2-inches, much smaller than most other smartphones available today. Although the display does have zero side bezels, which makes the phone feel even smaller than it actually is. We're looking at a 5.2-inch 1080p display, powered by MediaTek's MT6753 processor, paired with the Mali T-720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There's also 16GB of storage included with a micro SD card slot thrown in for good measure. However, Elephone did throw in a somewhat small battery, one that has a 2100mAh capacity. Which means that it likely won't last you all day long, unfortunately.

Now this smartphone does look quite familiar. It looks a whole lot like the OnePlus 3 that was announced last month, albeit a bit smaller. The Elephone S3 has an all-metal design, with the usual antenna lines on the top and bottom. Elephone also has the speaker on the bottom of the device with the micro USB port, the 3.5mm headphone jack is up at the top with the power button and volume rocker located on the right-hand side. While the device looks pretty sleek, its performance does compliment it pretty well. The MediaTek MT6753 processor works fairly well inside, pushing around stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Of course, the 3GB of RAM does definitely help here.

We've already written a few thousand words about the Elephone S3 in the full review. But if you'd rather see the smartphone in action, then check out our video review. It's just over 6 minutes long and definitely has some valuable information inside. And you'll be able to see how well the performance is on the Elephone S3. Now the Elephone S3 is available for purchase right now through Gearbest, and it comes in at about $179. Not the cheapest smartphone out there, but definitely not the most expensive. And if you're looking for a smartphone that's rather small, but doesn't skimp on the specs – for the most part – then the Elephone S3 is definitely a phone worth taking a look at.
