Top 10: Best Cases for the LG G5 - July 2016

The LG G5 is a great looking smartphone - well depending on who you ask. But as with all smartphones, you'll want to protect your newly purchases LG G5. Why? What if you drop it? Then that phone you just paid over $600 for is probably shattered and you'll need a new phone. But slapping a case on it will often times solve that problem. So here are ten cases that will help protect your LG G5.

Spigen Rugged Armor

This is one of our favorite cases for the LG G5. It's a great looking case, but also fairly thin, which means it doesn't add a lot of weight or bulk to your smartphone. Additionally, it protects the display, since it does have a lip that goes over the front of the device.

OBLIQ Flex Pro

Now this may be a case maker that you haven't heard of before, but OBLIQ makes some pretty great cases for a majority of flagship smartphones out there too. And their Flex Pro case here is a TPU case which will keep your LG G5 nice and safe. It's available in black, and other colors.

Caseology Wavelength Series

Caseology makes some pretty interesting cases as well. This Wavelength Series case is a great one to pick up for the LG G5. It comes in all sorts of colors and styles. Additionally, it has a lip over the display so that your display will be kept safe and sound.

Spigen Style Armor

This case is a bit different from the Rugged Armor that we listed above. This one actually comes apart, similar to the way the LG G5 comes apart. Allowing you to pop off the bottom and replace the battery without having to pop off the case as well. Making for a pretty convenient way of changing out batteries.

VRS Design Shine Guard

This case is pretty interesting. It's a clear case, allowing you to still show off the beauty of your LG G5 while you protect it as well. The Shine Guard is a clear case, but has a pretty grippy back, making it a great case for those that are always dropping their smartphone.

VRS Design High Pro Shield

If you're a fan of having a brushed aluminum looking case, then the High Pro Shield here is the one for you. It features a brushed aluminum back, and comes with different colored frames - which include gold, silver, black and pink (or rose gold if you prefer).

Caseology Skyfall Series

Another line of cases here from Caseology, this is known as their "Skyfall Series", and yes there is a James Bond version available. This is a clear plastic case that can go on your LG G5 and protect it but also still show off the beauty that is the LG G5. Additionally, it comes with different colored sides for the case.

Poetic Affinity Series

Poetic is pretty popular for their cases as well. And their Affinity Series may not be the best looking case, but it is effective. It provides plenty of protection for the LG G5, especially for those that might be a bit on the clumsy side. The Poetic Affinity Series also comes in clear, or with black accents.

CruzerLite BugDroid

CruzerLite is also known for their lightweight TPU cases, and that's exactly what we have here. It's available in a bunch of different colors so you can choose the one that best suites your needs. CruzerLite's cases are also pretty cheap. So you can get protection for your LG G5 at a pretty low cost.

i-BLASON Prime

In need of a more rugged case for the LG G5? Then the i-BLASON Prime is definitely worth looking at and picking up. It's a pretty rugged case, which can help protect your LG G5 from being dropped on the ground and such.
