Prime Day 2016: ASUS C200MA Chromebook $139.99 - Today Only

Laptops can be a very useful gadget if you have the need for a computer but also want to have the ability to take it with you on the go. Laptops are not always affordable, though. This is what's great about Chromebooks as they offer a great alternative to traditional Windows-based laptops at a fraction of the cost in regards to most models. That being said, since Chromebooks are already affordable units, it's even better when they can be picked up for less than normal. Amazon's Prime Day has finally arrived and with it has come a nice little deal on the ASUS C200MA Chromebook that brings the normal price of $189.99 down to $179.99, but if you're a Prime member that price savings drops down to $139.99.

Although the greater savings does require a Prime membership, if you're already a member the extra savings is a bonus perk. The ASUS C200MA Chromebook comes equipped with an 11.6-inch LED screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768. It's powered by an Intel Bay Trail-M N2840 Dual-Core 2.16GHz processor paired with 4GB of DDR3L RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The ASUS C200MA also gets up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge making it perfect for taking with you whether it's being used for school, work, or personal, and with up to 10 hours of battery life you can leave the charger at home. It also only weighs about 2.5 lbs. making it fairly lightweight and portable. Since this is a Prime Day deal, the $139.99 price is only good through today.
