The Meizu MX6 has been all over the news lately. This smartphone will be introduced on July 19th by the company, and we do have quite a few details about this phone already, even though we still don’t have its full spec sheet, unfortunately. The Meizu MX6 will resemble the Meizu PRO 6 quite a bit, and the company’s CEO isn’t all that happy because of it. That doesn’t mean this device doesn’t look good though, it is made out of premium materials, and if you’re not bothered by the fact it resembles the PRO 6 and some other already released Meizu-branded devices, well, this phone might suit you.
We’ve already shared some exclusive renders of the Meizu MX6, and its real life images surfaced yesterday. Well, a new leak just popped up, and this time around we get to look at Meizu MX6’s renders yet again, though this time we get a much cleaner look at the device, at least its back side. If you take a look at the provided images, you’ll be able to see that the Meizu MX6 is made out of metal, and that it offers the same antenna design we’ve seen on the Meizu PRO 6. The physical (power / lock and volume rockers) keys will be placed on the right-hand side of the device, and as you can see, the phone’s camera will protrude on the back, just a little bit though. Below the camera sensor, you’ll get the dual-LED, dual tone flash, and below that you’ll notice the company’s branding. Now, we don’t get to see the whole design of this phone just yet, but you can expect its loudspeaker to be placed on the bottom, and next to it you’ll get the Type-C USB port, and we believe that the SIM tray slot will be located on the left side of this phone.
The Meizu MX6 did surface on Geekbench yesterday, and thanks to that listing, we do know that the device will not only going to be fueled by the Helio X20 64-bit deca-core SoC, but also ship with 4GB of RAM. In addition to that, AnTuTu’s listing revealed that the phone will feature a fullHD (1920 x 1080) display (quite probably a 5.5-inch panel), a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the Meizu MX6, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find Meizu’s Flyme 220.127.116.11G skin.
