Based on the latest reports, LG hasn’t been doing all that great as far as smartphone sales go this year, and the company is hoping they’ll be able to amend that to an extent before the end of the year. The LG V20 is expected to arrive at the end of Q3 this year, and the company is still launching a number of low and mid-range smartphones. Speaking of which, the LG Stylus 2 phablet was introduced in India back in May, and the ‘Plus’ variant of this device is going to launch soon, read on.
The LG Stylus 2 Plus phablet was originally introduced back in May, and it is now on its way to India. The LG Stylus 2 Plus offers somewhat higher-end specifications that its older sibling, and it will be available in India soon, at least according to Mahesh Telecom, the official announcement is coming soon. The LG Stylus 2 Plus features a 5.7-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 1.4GHz, along with the Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. The 16-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this smartphone, and an 8-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of the package, and it is removable, which is a rarity these days. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the device, with LG’s custom UI available on top of it. The device measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4mm, while it weighs 146 grams.
As its name says, the LG Stylus 2 Plus ships with a stylus which sits in the upper right corner of this phablet. The tip of this stylus is nano-coated in order to offer more accuracy, and there are a number of software features included here for this accessory. The LG Stylus 2 Plus will cost Rs. 25,990 ($388) in India, which might seem a bit steep for this device, but if you’re looking for a somewhat affordable phablet with a stylus, your options are quite limited.
