In case you didn't already know, it's about that time for back to school season. Which means there are going to be sales from just about every retailer looking to pick up a few extra sales before heading into the holiday season in just a few short months. Google is one of those retailers. The Google Store currently has a number of products discounted. This includes Chromebooks, Chromecast and even current Nexus hardware like the Nexus 6P.
For Chromebooks, Google is offering $30 off of the Acer Chromebook R11 and the Acer Chromebook 14. Knocking these down to $280 and $270 respectively. Currently the Acer Chromebook R11 is one of three Chromebooks that does have the Google Play Store - of course, the rest of the Chromebooks will get it this fall. As far as Chromecast goes, both the Chromecast and Chromecast Audio are seeing a $5 discount. This brings the price to just $30 each. If you need a new smartphone to start the school year off right, check out the Nexus 6P which is seeing a $100 price drop as well. Which brings the price down to $499 for the 32GB, $549 for the 64GB and $649 for the 128GB model. Finally, we have some discounts on Android Wear smartwatches - although they are limited to just the Huawei Watch family. The Huawei Watch, as well as the Huawei Watch Jewel and Huawei Watch Elegant are seeing $50 price cuts. Bringing the final price down to $350 and $450.
Lots of great deals here on all kinds of great products from Google. The Acer Chromebook R11 and Chromebook 14 are great Chromebooks to take to college for the 2016-2017 school year. Especially with the addition of Google Play. On top of that, picking up a Nexus 6P wouldn't be a bad way to start off the school year either. Considering it is the latest and greatest from Google running the latest and greatest version of Android. And it'll get Android 7.0 Nougat in just a few short weeks. Definitely making it worthwhile to pick up, especially at this low price. Of course, we'll be seeing more and more price drops on the Nexus 6P in the next few weeks, as its successor is due to be unveiled rather soon.
