Cartoon Network Drops New Adventure Time Game On Google Play

If you like mobile games but you could really use a break from Pokemon GO, Cartoon Network is here to help. They have just recently released a new Adventure Time game onto the Play Store for anyone who is a fan of the series and have enjoyed the other games that center around the show. This new title, called Card Wars Kingdom, is just like it sounds, a card battler that fits right into the action and adventure category. It's also labeled as family-friendly, so if you have kids and they watch adventure time, this could be a perfect game for sharing with the whole family or for just letting the kids play.

Like many Adventure Time games this one is free to download and play, but there are in-app purchases so parents will want to simply be aware of them. The game is also ad-based. When it comes to the gameplay, as stated this is a card battler so expect plenty of card collecting and laying down strategic cards at certain times to beat your opponents. This is adventure time though, so expect it to be a little more lighthearted than something like Hearthstone. That being said, the game still makes it a point to highlight that you can "smite your enemies," and smite them you shall.

The game also features a multiplayer aspect, letting players battle it out in PvP matches, and you can also borrow creature cards as well as trade them with other players if you're missing something or want to help out others. There will be hundreds of different creatures to collect so players should have plenty to keep them busy, and there are special cards that are unique to each hero card so players will want to look out for those. It isn't listed how many different heroes are included as playable characters, but you will be able to play as Jake, Finn, BMO, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline and others. Those who value events and other special in-game content can also participate in strike dungeons and other timed events that will pop up from time to time, and there will be daily dungeon challenges that players can complete as well.
