Vernee Apollo Lite Is Official With Helio X20 & 4GB Of RAM

Vernee is a relatively new smartphone manufacturing company. This is a China-based company, and they have introduced several smartphones thus far. The Vernee Apollo and Thor have been announced in the last couple of months, and even though the Apollo is still not available, the Thor surely is. That being said, Vernee started teasing the Apollo Lite handset a while back as well, and the company has not officially announced that smartphone, read on.

The Vernee Apollo Lite is a somewhat less powerful variant of the company’s flagship, the Vernee Apollo. Having that in mind, this smartphone is nothing to scoff at, quite on the contrary, its specs are quite powerful. The Vernee Apollo Lite is a metal-clad smartphone which sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Sharp’s IGZO display, 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage (eMMC 5.1). The device is fueled by MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor, and a 3,180mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable. The 16-megapixel ISOCELL snapper (S5K3P3 sensor, 6P lens) can be found on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel unit (S5K5E2 sensor) is available up front. This phone also comes with MediaTek’s Pump Express 3.0 fast charging, and a Type-C port is placed on the bottom of the device. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back of this phone, and Vernee says it’s really fast (0.1s to unlock your device). There are two SIM card slots available inside the Vernee Apollo Lite (hybrid Dual SIM), and the phone comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The device measures 152 x 76.2 x 8.9mm, while it weighs 176 grams.

The Vernee Apollo Lite is a sleek-looking phone which sports really thin side bezels. The phone is now available for pre-order from a number of China-based retailers, including GearBest. If you’d like to pre-order this device, you can do so for only $229.99, if you’re interested, follow this link. That is more or less it, the Apollo Lite is here, it’s available, and we’re waiting for the more powerful variant of this phone to roll out as well, stay tuned.
