June has been quite the exciting month for Chromebooks as it was the first month which officially saw Android app support beginning to roll out to Chromebooks. While the support has largely only rolled out to the likes of the ASUS Chromebook Flip, it is set to begin rolling out in the coming weeks to far more Chromebooks including a number of the options on this list. As such, there really has never been a better time to consider picking up a new Chromebook. For those who are in the market for a Chromebook, here are our top 10 Chromebook picks for June 2016.

10. Acer Chromebook C740

Acer has a number of Chromebooks in the top 10 this month and this is actually one of their newer ones. This is the Acer Chromebook C740 and a Chromebook which comes with an 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) display, 4GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and is powered by an Intel Celeron (3205U) dual-core processor. While it is a newer option from Acer, it is also one which is relatively quite high-priced and is limited in its screen size and for that reason only manages the top 10 spot this month. 9. HP Chromebook 14

The HP Chromebook 14 has been a popular Chromebook option for some time and largely thanks to it ticking most of the right boxes. This is a Chromebook which comes with a fairly large 14-inch (1366 x 768) display. While inside this is a Chromebook which is available in different RAM and storage configurations including a 2GB RAM option which sports an Intel Celeron (N2840) dual-core processor as well as a 4GB RAM option which comes equipped with an Intel Celeron (N2940) quad-core processor. At the moment, the 2GB RAM option is available for $249 while the 4GB RAM option will set you back $279.

The big benefit with this Chromebook is that you can use it in a multitude of positions. However, it is also a very small Chromebook as it comes with a tablet-sized 10.1-inch display. It is also worth noting that this is the first Chromebook to see its support for Android apps go live, which does right now make it a great option to consider picking up. In terms of the numbers, the ASUS Chromebook Flip comes with either 2GB or 4GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and is powered by a Rockchip (RK3288) processor and will currently set you back about $265.

This Chromebook costs a rock-bottom $179 to purchase making it an ideal solution for those looking for an entry-level Chromebook option. For the money, the Acer Chromebook 11 (CB3-131) comes equipped with an 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) display, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and is powered by an Intel Celeron (N2840) processor.

Again, like the Acer Chromebook 11 this one also comes with a general retail price of $179, although you can usually find it on sale for slightly cheaper. The Samsung Chromebook 3 is the newest Chromebook to come from Samsung and follows in the line of successful predecessor models. In terms of the specs, this is one of the options which is available in more than one variant. So you can choose between RAM options of 2GB and 4GB. Besides the RAM, both come with an 11.6-inch display, 16GB storage, and powered by an Intel Celeron (N3050) processor. This month also sees both models on sale so if you are after the 2GB version, it can currently be picked up for only $179, while the 4GB RAM model will currently set you back only $209.

If you were to judge a Chromebook purely based on specs and build quality, then it is unarguably the case that the Chromebook Pixel is the best Chromebook you can buy. Its specs overshadow the other options with a 2K 12.85-inch display, 16GB RAM, 64GB storage and an Intel Core i7 processor all on offer, as well as an extremely nice design and build. However, the issue with the Chromebook Pixel is that it is simply out of the reach of the average Chromebook customer, due to the price. While there had been a more affordable option available (priced at $999), that option has now been discontinued and those hoping to buy the Chromebook Pixel will be looking at spending in the region of $1,299.

For this particular model, you are looking at paying in the region of $420 at the moment. So for those looking for a very well-built and premium Chromebook without having to spend Pixel prices, this might be the option to go for.

For quite a long time now, the Acer Chromebook 15 has been in the number one spot. The reason for this was simply the choice on offer, the larger display size and the general affordable price. Factors which continually meant the Chromebook 15 remained one of the best Chromebook options available. This is a Chromebook which come equipped with a 15.6-inch display and is available in a variety of different options which includes 2GB RAM/16GB storage, 4GB RAM/16GB storage and 4GB RAM/32GB storage. While in terms of price, the Acer Chromebook 15 2GB model can currently be picked up for only $219, while the 4GB model is currently available for $299. So while it still does remain one of the best Chromebooks you can buy, it has now been knocked off our top spot.

This is a Chromebook which comes with the usual specs in tow, but one which also sports a very attractive design and sleek build. If you are after a Chromebook which is competitively priced, comes with a great build and performs extremely well, then the Acer Chromebook 14 is the one to go for. In terms of price, this one retails for $299 (although it is currently available this month for $275) and comes equipped with a 14-inch (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and is powered by an Intel Celeron N3160 quad-core processor.
