The ZTE Spro 2 Is Now Available For $499.99 From T-Mobile

Last week indications came through that T-Mobile was close to introducing the ZTE Spro 2 to their network. Now, following the announcements that came through yesterday during the Un-Carrier 11 event, ZTE has confirmed that the Spro 2 is available to buy through T-Mobile for $499.99. A number of consumers will already be familiar with the ZTE Spro 2 as this is a unit which has for some time been available through both Verizon Wireless and AT&T.

For those new to the ZTE Spro 2 though, this is a smart projector that runs on Android and can connect via Wi-Fi, as well as being able to run off its own data plan. In fact, the Spro 2 also includes the ability to be used as a hotspot, allowing for the connection of up to ten different devices. In terms of the more basic information, the Spro 2 comes equipped with its own 5-inch touchscreen display which acts as the main control point for the projector (although content can be watched on the display as well). In terms of the projector, content can be projected up to 120-inches in a 1280 x 720 resolution. While additional features like auto-focus and keystone correction are included too. Being an Android product, once synced to your account, you will have access to all your usual Google and Google Play content and all without having to connect to any additional devices. In addition, this is a unit which comes powered by a 6,300 mAh battery and is one which can offer full functionality for up to 2.5 hours. This is a device which runs on Android, albeit Android 4.4 (KitKat).

While being able to stream content, this is a unit which can also house content locally as the Spro 2 includes 16GB internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot which supports microSD cards up to 64GB. Of course, one of the benefits of buying the Spro 2 through T-Mobile and making use of their particular data plans is that with the likes of T-Mobile’s Binge On you will not actually have to worry about the data cost of streaming content from YouTube, Netflix or many other video streaming providers. For those interested, the ZTE Spro 2 is available to buy online today from T-Mobile for $499.99 and is due to become available at select T-Mobile stores from tomorrow.
