The Gear Fit2 comes with a 1.5-inch curved Super AMOLED display with 216 x 432 pixels and is easy to read under any circumstance – which is imperative when exercising outdoors. It uses a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, and connectivity is via Bluetooth v4.2. It includes a small 200mAh battery which should be able to get you about three days on one charge, and the charging cradle is easy to use. The Gear Fit2 contains an Accelerometer, Gyro, HRM, GPS, and Barometer.

It is running the TIZEN OS, but will work with any Android smartphone – it does not have to be a Samsung device – running Android 4.4 or higher and having 1.5GB of RAM. It will give you notifications for text messages, emails, calls, or bring up your schedule or list of apps. The Gear Fit2 is IP68 certified, so no problem if you get into a rainstorm or take a quick shower after a workout.  It functions a standalone music player that will work with any Bluetooth headset.  It comes in two sizes to accommodate both large and small wrists.
