Samsung Galaxy Tab E LTE Can Now Be Purchased In Canada

At one time, tablet sales were growing, as they were the go-to device when it came to replacing one's laptop.  However, the increased display size on the new smartphones has practically replaced the 7-inch tablet.  Many people still like the larger sized tablets for playing games or working with graphics and Samsung is more than happy to oblige with about any size and price range your pocket book can handle. Samsung has made the 8-inch LTE Galaxy Tab E tablet available in Canada.  It is available nationwide at Rogers, Bell, Telus, and even on Virgin Mobile.  Priced at a reasonable $289.99, it would break down to only $13.75 per month on Virgin Mobile’s two-year installment plan.  The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is part of their affordable line of tablets, yet it outperforms many other cheap tablets on the market - it actually offers some real value for your hard-earned dollar.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 LTE comes with an 8-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels with about 189 pixels-per-inch (PPI.)  It comes out-of-the-box running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top. The brains come from a 64-bit Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and an Adreno 306 GPU provides the graphics.  It packs 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage but offers expansion up to 256GB via a microSD card. This offers plenty of space to store songs, videos, games, or pictures. It has a primary camera of 5-megapixel with an aperture of f/2.2 and autofocus as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing camera (FFC) for selfies or video chatting - something you can easily do hooked up to the speeds that LTE provides. The Galaxy Tab E has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and a v2.0 microUSB port for charging and data transfers.  It also packs an Accelerometer and can handle Email, Push Mail, and Instant Messaging.

It measures 212.1 x 126.1 x 8.9 mm and does weigh in at a hefty 360 grams which is likely due to its huge non-removable 5,000 mAh battery, which Samsung claims will give you up to 13 hours of video watching.  It comes in Pearl White and Metallic Black, but it has yet to be confirmed what colors carriers will offer in Canada.
