Pete Lau Shares Three New OnePlus 3 Camera Samples

OnePlus is a China-based company which has released only three devices thus far, and have managed to become really popular in a short time period. Their first-ever smartphone, the OnePlus One, was one of the best devices in 2014, and the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X were also really good products. Well, on June 15th (China time), OnePlus will introduce their third flagship, and fourth device overall, the OnePlus 3. This smartphone has been surfacing all over the internet for a long time now, and has been certified by both the FCC and TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC). Earlier today, four new OnePlus 3 images surfaced, and now we have some official camera samples to share with you, read on.

The company’s CEO, Pete Lau, has already shared two images taken with the OnePlus 3, one image taken with the rear-facing camera, and one taken using the phone's front-facing shooter. That being said, the company’s CEO has shared more camera samples via his official Weibo (Chinese social network) account, this time around we get to see three camera samples taken with the device’s main shooter. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see some food shots Mr. Lau took with OnePlus 3’s camera. The images look really good, as expected, the color balance seem to be in check, and so does white balance. We’d love to see some low light shots though, and do hope that Mr. Lau will post at least one in the coming days, we’ll see.

The OnePlus 3 will ship with a 16-megapixel OIS camera, though we still don’t know which sensor exactly OnePlus opted to use here. The 8-megapixel shooter will be available on the front side of the device, and below it, you’ll get a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display. The phone will also pack in 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor will fuel this smartphone, along with the Adreno 530 GPU. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the OnePlus 3, and on top of it, you’ll find either Oxygen OS or Hydrogen OS, depending on whether you purchase the international or Chinese variant of this smartphone. It is also worth noting that the device will be invite-free this time around, and it will go on sale starting June 16th.
