OnePlus 3 Sold Out In Under 10 Minutes Through China's JD.com

The OnePlus 3 is generally speaking the hottest phone on the market right now. Of course, it is the newest smartphone which always plays a factor in popularity, but it is also one which comes touting a genuinely high-profile spec sheet. On offer is 6GB RAM, a Snapdragon 820, 64GB storage, a 16/8-megapixel camera combination, NFC, Dash Charge fast charging, Android 6.0, this list goes on. However, this is also a smartphone which unlike the previous OnePlus devices, is able to be bought invite-free.

In fact, it is not only available invite-free, but in spite of only be unveiled this week, it is already on sale in various locations worldwide. The US and Europe were first to see their availability open on the 14th and this was then followed by availability in other regions including China. Speaking of which, we are now starting to see the first indications of how the OnePlus 3 sales are performing in China.

According to the information, there are only three major retailers in China stocking the OnePlus 3 at the moment and the biggest of which is JD.com. They started their availability today by way of a flash sale and it seems the OnePlus 3 not only sold out during the flash sale, but sold out in less than ten minutes. Which although is not necessarily as fast as some of the other flash sales that have taken place in China of late, it is still considerably fast and does highlight an appetite in the country for the OnePlus 3. Of course, there are some unknown variables in play here as there are no details on just how many units JD.com had to begin with. Although it does seem that whatever the number was, it was not enough. If you are in China and had hoped to pick up the OnePlus 3, then while it is still available directly from OnePlus, reports are confirming that JD.com is back in talks with OnePlus to secure stock for their next flash sale which is due to take place on Saturday. Although, if you do plan to buy during the next flash sale, you may want to be quick. Based on the first flash sale there is no telling how long it will remain in stock for.
