The ZenFone 3 Deluxe has been announced by ASUS quite recently, alongside the ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Ultra. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe is the highest-end ZenFone 3 smartphone, and also the company’s all-new flagship. This smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, which is Qualcomm’s most powerful chip at the moment. That being said, we’ve stumbled upon a rather interesting rumor recently, and it said that the Snapdragon 823-powered ZenFone 3 Deluxe variant is coming. The Snapdragon 823 SoC has been rumored for a number of times thus far, but Qualcomm still didn’t unveil it. This processor will, reportedly, going to be almost identical to the Snapdragon 820, but will offer a higher clock speed, and a slightly tweaked GPU.
Keeping that in mind, a new leak surfaced quite recently, and it seems like the Snapdragon 821-powered ZenFone 3 Deluxe might also be in the pipeline. As you can see, there are two images in the gallery down below, and both the Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 821 are listed down there. The image reveals that the Snapdragon 821-powered ZenFone 3 Deluxe will be clocked at 2.3GHz, slightly higher than the Snapdragon 820 (2.15GHz). In addition to this, rumors say that most flagships which are released in H2 2016 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 821 processor which has not been released just yet, just like the Snapdragon 823. In addition to this, the images reveal that the rest of ZenFone 3 Deluxe specs will remain the same. Is it possible ASUS intends to release three different ZenFone 3 Deluxe devices, and that each fo them will ship with a different SoC?
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe, aside from the Snapdragon 820 SoC, comes with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable internal storage. On the back of this phone you’ll find a 23-megapixel snapper, while an 8-megapixel camera can be found up front. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes out of the box here, and on top of it, you’ll get ASUS’ ZenUI 3.0. The 5.7-inch fullHD Super AMOLED display is also a part of this package, and so is a 3,000mAh battery which is not removable. Click here if you’d like to know more about ASUS’ ZenFone 3 devices.
