Motorola Offering Free Moto 360 Sport When Buying Moto X Pure

Having already introduced the all-new Moto Z and Moto Z Force earlier this month, Motorola is announcing some nice deals presumably to clear out its Moto X inventory. As part of a new promotion starting today, the company is now offering a free Moto 360 Sport smartwatch with every 64 GB model of the Moto X Pure Edition smartphone. The deal is currently live on the company's official online store, where customers can go to if they fancy a buy-one-get-one Moto combo. While the unlocked, 64 GB version of the Moto X Pure costs $399.99 all by itself, the Moto 360 Sport comes with a price-tag of $349.99. The company was offering essentially the same deal earlier this month when customers could apply two different promo codes to save as much as $350 while buying the same two devices together.

While both the Moto 360 Sport and the Moto X Pure Edition are good devices to own, they have been growing a little long the tooth. Alongside the Moto Z devices mentioned earlier, Motorola has also launched three Moto G variants this year, so anybody looking for an all-new Motorola device already has a number of options before them. While the offer seems lucrative on paper, buyers need to know that it is only valid on the 64 GB model of the Moto X Pure, so those looking to save a few bucks by opting for the cheaper variant are out of luck. Either way, as per Motorola's official store, the offer is only valid till the morning of June 28th, so anybody tempted by this deal will need to act fast.

The Moto X Pure Edition and the Moto 360 Sport have both been out for a while now, so the spec sheets for both, while still great, are not exactly bleeding-edge anymore. The Moto X Pure Edition has a 5.7-inch QHD display and comes with a 21-megapixel camera on the back. The device is powered by the capable but aging Snapdragon 808 SoC from Qualcomm, and comes with 3 GB of RAM with a choice of either 32 or 64 GB of internal storage. As for the Moto 360 Sport, the device was unveiled at the IFA trade show in Berlin last year and runs on Android Wear.
