The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are amongst the most popular smartphones on the planet at the moment. Samsung has introduced these two devices back in February during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and the company managed to sell quite a few units thus far. Samsung's Q1 sales were great, and analysts predict that the same will happen in Q2 as well, mainly thanks to the Galaxy S7 handsets. That being said, this Korea-based company is expected to introduce their new flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 7, in August, and quite a few people are looking forward to that, not only because this will be a larger sibling to the Galaxy S7, but because of the S Pen stylus as well.
Now, some of you might wonder why the Galaxy Note 7 when the Galaxy Note 6 is not out yet. Well, according to latest reports, Samsung will ditch the Galaxy Note 6 naming in order to bring the Note line to the 'S' line's level (S7 and Note 7 instead of S7 and Note 6). In addition to this, several rumors suggested that Samsung plans to release the 'Edge' variant of the Galaxy Note 7 as well, but nothing has been confirmed yet, nor did we see a leaked image of the device, well, until now, at least. If you take a look at the teaser video down below, you'll see the alleged Galaxy Note 7 Edge. Now, this video has been shared by @OnLeaks, and it's only 1 second long, but that's plenty enough for us to see what's going on. The source did not share any additional details with the video itself, but if you take a look at the device in the video you'll not only notice the S Pen stylus on the bottom and Samsung's recognizable design, but also that the phone's display is curved, much like the one on the Galaxy S7 Edge. The loudspeaker is located on the bottom of the device, and it's on the same place as the one on the Galaxy S7 Edge, and so is the 3.5mm headphone jack. Now, in between the headphone jack and the phone's speaker, you'll notice a Type-C USB port, which is new for Samsung, the Galaxy S7 devices shipped with a regular microUSB port.
What about its specs? Well, we've seen several rumors thus far, and according to those, Samsung might ship two variants of this handset, the Snapdragon 823 and Exynos 8890-powered models. The device is said to sport 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and as you can see, its design will resemble Samsung's Galaxy S7 devices. The 5.77-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display is expected to be a part of this package as well, and a 4,200mAh battery has also been mentioned. That's more or less it, stay tuned.
UPDATE: This might be the regular Galaxy Note 7 after all, not the 'Edge' variant, at least according to @OnLeaks.
