Kick Things Up A Notch With Cristiano Ronaldo: Kick'n'Run

The 2016 UEFA European Championship is underway in its first week, and with it there will be plenty of fans eager to see every single second of the games as they progress. You likely can't spend every waking moment watching game after game after game, though. Sometimes you might need a break, but might still feel the desire to continue engaging with the sport. If that's the case, there's no better time to check out Cristiano Ronaldo: Kick'n'Run, a new football game that launched just in time for Euro 16. The game is of course, free, so there's no reason not to give it a shot if you're a fan of the sport and have a little downtime.

Although not a full-fledged game where you'll be running the field and trying to score, it has just the right amount of football (or soccer, depending on what you call it) action to keep you entertained during your down time. The gameplay pretty much makes this an endless runner, so it's easy to pick up for even just a few minutes without having to get too involved to enjoy it. As you run you'll have opportunities to score and rack up your points, but you'll also have to avoid oncoming players who are trying to attack you.

Much like many other endless runners you'll come across power ups that you can grab from time to time and these will help you get a better high-score in the long run. If you ever get tired of playing the game by yourself, there are also a few social elements tossed in here like tournaments, which allow you to team up with friends and compete against other teams of players. The game also features leaderboards rankings, so the more you play and the better scores you get, the higher up the leaderboard you'll be able to climb. Those who like to customize stuff in their games will also love the ability to outfit Ronaldo with different attire, and you can link the game to Facebook for more high-score competitions. The gameplay is simple enough for anyone to pick up and learn without much effort, and if you're a football (soccer) fan it just might be the perfect game.
