Deal: BlackBerry PRIV $299 - 6/22/16

If you are in the market for a new smartphone, then there are plenty of great options to choose from at the moment. In fact, the last year or two has seen a number of less orthodox Android smartphones coming though with some focusing on modular aspects, others on curved displays and one which comes with its own QWERTY keyboard, the BlackBerry PRIV. This is a smartphone which likely needs little introduction as the PRIV is BlackBerry’s first foray into Android and marks the introduction of the iconic BlackBerry keyboard on an Android device. Not forgetting that since the launch of the PRIV, BlackBerry has made it one of their missions to ensure the PRIV receives fast and regular updates, with security at the heart of their focus.

This is a smartphone which at launch was priced in the flagship sector and as a result, may have been slightly off-putting for some. However, if you have been thinking about picking up the PRIV but were hoping for a much better price, then it is worth knowing the PRIV is currently available via eBay and priced at only $299.99. This is an extremely good price for this handset and especially when considering the PRIV comes loaded with a 5.4-inch 2560 x 1440 display, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. As well as an 18-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and of course, a slide out physical keyboard.
