Deal: 3rd Gen Nest Learning Thermostat $199 - 6/28/16

The connected world has led to the introduction of a number of new and novel products and you can now find a connected version of just about most items. What seems to be one of the most popular items in this new and emerging field is that of smart thermostats. Of course, this does make sense as these thermostats are directly related to your energy bills. As such, the smarter the thermostat, the likelihood that your bills will be lower. This essentially means that a smart thermostat has the potential to pay for itself over time.

One of the smartest of the smart thermostats out there is the Nest Learning Thermostat. At the moment, this one comes in as a third-generation product and one which looks to learn from you over time to ensure that it really does control heating and cooling times and of course, control those monthly bills so you are only paying for what you actually need and use. Not to mention, this is one of those items which is able to connect to other smart items like Amazon’s Alexa. So the Nest Learning Thermostat is really one of the smartest and best options available for those looking for a new connected thermostat. Of course, this also does mean that it is one of the more expensive options too, with the normal retail price coming in at $249. That said, it seems the Nest Thermostat is currently on sale to mark July 4th and this means that you can currently pick up the Nest Learning Thermostat for only $199. As it is available through Amazon as well, that also means $199 shipped with Prime, which is a pretty good price for a product which is designed to start saving you money from its first use.
